"I don't really have anyone I cant stand, but more than likely I'd find something mechanical to tinker with to keep my mind off things."

I have been away from DA for a very long time, mostly down to being busy, lack of inspiration for artwork, and also a very enjoyable time with my girlfriend over the last 6 weeks. Two of which I spent in America with her, My!
I hopefully will get around to posting some of the 2000 ish photo's taken over the last 6 weeks, some of which will be the same shots as those on Silver's page (as she used my camera for her 4 week stay here in cold England)

This is more of a rant than a proper Journal so much. It seems that since winter has started there has been nothing but problems, Well OK, the problems started earlier this year with the recession and all, but that's not my main gripe.
Work related, Wolseley UK are laying off 2300 staff members and closing 200 branches, luckily the one I work at, hasn't been closed..... yet. and that the managers have said the branch is safe, but that doesn't mean that staff members will not be made redundant. So far I've avoided being made redundant, not that anyone has gone yet, but it will be coming!

Car related now. This is also getting at me abit as well, I have just spent £60 on a new battery for it, and its started going flat, i thought it was the battery, turns out is the Alternator, which a new one will cost £160! but i found one reconditioned on eBay for £55, but I still have to get it fitted, Plus, if i don't, it will damage the battery! The car Also needs a new Wishbone, on the passenger side, and new strut top mounts! Grrrr!!!!!

On top of this, I am trying to save to go to America, to be with my Girlfriend and i have to keep spending the money i have set asside and have tried to save
